Kotak Institutional Equities has issued a positive call on shares of Coforge Ltd., a company in the IT industry.
The firm predicts that the IT stock, which has dropped 16% in 2025, will reach Rs 9,000 in a year. According to Kotak’s study, FY2026 will be a pivotal year for Coforge.It kept its buy call and priced the company at 34X FY2027E EPS.
Kotak listed out four factors behind its bullish stance.
(1) Multiple business engines are firing.
(2) The pipeline of deals strong across many dimensions.
(3) Sabre is a complex transformation engagement won on the back of engineering and travel tech prowess.
(4) The focus is on profitable growth.
The IT stock ended the previous session on the BSE at Rs 8098.75, down 0.17%. The company’s market value dropped to Rs 54,163 crore.
A total of 0.11 lakh shares of the company were exchanged, generating Rs 9.20 crore in revenue.On May 9, 2024, Coforge’s stock dropped to a 52-week low of Rs 4291.05.
With an RSI of 59.9, the IT stock is neither overbought nor oversold on the charts. The fact that Coforge shares are trading above the five-, ten-, twenty-, fifty-, one-hundred-, one-hundred-, one-hundred-, and two-hundred-day moving averages suggests that the momentum is bullish in the short and long term.
For the December quarter, Coforge’s adjusted net profit increased by 10% to Rs 268 crore. However, the profit due to Coforge’s owners decreased from Rs 238 crore to Rs 215.5 crore over the same time last year.
At Rs 3,318.2 crore, revenue increased 8.4% from quarter to quarter and 40.3% from year to year in constant currency.
The record date for this payout was January 30, 2025, and the board recommended an interim dividend of Rs 19 per share.
